The YCPE has scheduled lunch talk events for the 2016-2017 academic year.

March 14 - Professor Scott Forsyth will give a talk entitled "Film in Politics / Politics in Film: From Battleship Potemkin to Captain America." Details available here. Click to watch video.

March 1 - A panel consisting of esteemed McLaughlin College Fellows Robert Drummond, Jerry Ginsburg, Ian Greene, David Leyton-Brown and Stephen Newman will discuss "The Trump Transition." Details available here. Click to watch video.

Fall 2016

September 28 - University Professor Emeritus Ian Greene gave a talk about government ethics and discussed the upcoming release of the second edition of his book Honest Politics (co-edited with Prof. David Shugarman). Details available here. Click here to watch video.

September 29-30 - The YCPE helped to organize a Public Sector Ethics Conference that was held at the University of Toronto Law School. Details available here.

October 25 - Jennifer Brant gave a talk called Bringing Honour to Our "Sisters in Spirit" wherein she presented an overview of the book "Forever Loved: Exposing the Hidden Crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls in Canada." Details available here. Click here to watch video.

November 2 - Jacob Blum gave a talk about his experience working for and blowing the whistle at Ontario's Air Ambulance operator, Ornge. Details available here.
