On Wednesday, November 18, a panel discussion will take place via Zoom entitled "Ukraine in 2026: Natural Law, Human Dignity, and the Challenges of a Just Society." The session will last from noon to 1:30 p.m. The speaker will be Maksym Hamulets, a Lecturer at the International European University, specializing in medical law and ethics. He is a practicing lawyer with over seven years of experience in civil and contract law. He will explore Russia’s war against Ukraine through the lens of natural law, focusing on the fundamental rights to life, freedom, and self-determination. He will connect these questions with the challenges Ukraine faces in 2026 and offer his perspective from within the country.
