On Thursday March 12 at noon, Me. Nadine Mailoux, Ombudsman for the City of Montreal, and Mr. Kwame Addo, Ombudsman for the City of Toronto, will present "The Municipal Ombudsman -- the Work of the Ombuds of Montreal and Toronto." The presentations will be in English and French and simultaneous translation will be provided.
Municipal Ombuds in Montreal and Toronto investigate complaints about administration and promote administrative fairness. In thie session, the ombuds of Canada's largest cities will discuss their mandates, how they operationalize the requirements of their offices, and how they assess the impact of their work.
